Pastor Alan Beuster
Alan Beuster was born in Kewanee, Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Illinois, Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa, and a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Before coming to Concordia Seminary, Alan retired from the Department of the Army, working 31 years in Project Engineering including 25 years as Supervisory General Engineer responsible for ammunition production capabilities for all branches of the Department of Defense. Alan has been married for 40+ years to his wife, Sandy. Alan and Sandy have two boys, Andy and Nathan. Alan is a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. He has served on the Board of Education, Board of Elders, Board of Evangelism as well as serving as congregational chairman. He was also very active in leading Bible studies, both for adults and high school youth. He served as High School Bible Class Teacher and Senior Youth League Counselor (with his wife) over 25 years. Pastor Beuster was ordained and installed on June 28, 2015.
